Contra Dance Lessons @ Lubbock Area Dance Federation

First lesson is free. Contra is danced with 6-20 people within circles and lines. You will interact with other couples in the line. The caller will guide you through the steps before & during the music, ensuring everyone is in sync and having a great time. It is fast paced with lots of swinging and weaving amongst your group. Contra dancing is known for its welcoming atmosphere, where dancers of all skill levels can join in, creating a sense of camaraderie and shared enjoyment on the dance floor.
